Dr. Nguyen Minh Le is a double board-certified thoracic surgeon at Newport Cardiac & Thoracic Surgery, where he works alongside a team of experts in the cancer field to provide highly skilled surgical treatment to patients. He specializes in minimally invasive, robotic thoracic surgery, including esophageal surgery.

Dr. Nguyen Minh Le attended medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery at Hofstra North Shore Long Island Jewish and completed his fellowship in both robotic thoracic surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine in New York. He is a published researcher and an active member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the Society of Robotic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Nguyen Minh Le has held several academic appointments, including at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. He lives in Irvine with his wife, who is also a physician, and his three children. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, off-roading and traveling.
