Nayanna Hage

“My own personal experience with cardiac surgery has helped shape my skills as a provider.  I will continually strive to provide the highest level of care for our patients while providing support to their loved ones.”

Nayanna joined Newport Cardiac & Thoracic (formerly Raney Zusman Medical Group) in 2015. After training and working as a quality control chemist, Nayanna brings a scientist’s exacting and detail oriented work ethic combined with real empathy for cardiac surgery patients. She decided to pursue a career as a PA in cardiothoracic surgery after undergoing her own heart surgery after college. She has a great deal of passion for this field and can relate to patients and their families on a personal level. She is an expert at endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting at open and robotically assisted surgeries. She is an integral part of the team providing care not only in the operating room but also in the ICU, on Telemetry and in the outpatient clinic.
